Tonight, Thursday, Jan. 20 at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club located at 5500 Godbey Drive in La Cañada, the Montrose Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to attend the 2011 Annual Installation and Community Awards Dinner. Cocktail hour is at 6 p.m. and the dinner starts at 7 p.m.
This year we will be honoring our outstanding community members for their contributions: Chris Waldheim of J’s Maintenance as Business of the Year; Boy Scout Troop 317 as Organization of the Year; Suzanne Paine from Dickson Podley Realtors as Volunteer of the Year; Joe Kroening of Andy’s Transfer and Storage as Business Person of the Year; CV Sheriffs Capt. Dave Silversparre as Peace Officer of the Year; Sake Sushi Bar & Lounge with the Beautification Award; Jana “Ace” Wunderlich of Dickson Podley Realtors with the President’s Award; Pastor Dave Roberts and the Montrose Church with the Community Enhancement Award; Kirk Phillips as the Oktoberfest Volunteer of the Year; Rick Dinger and Crescenta Valley Insurance with the Community Endearment Award; Steve Pierce with the Frank Roberts Award; and a special tribute to our late Bud Yoho, posthumously, as Educator of the Year.
We will be thanking our outgoing 2010 board of Officers and Directors and installing our incoming 2011 board of Officers and Directors. Mike Perry from Fidelity National Title, our 2010 president, will be passing the gavel to Scott Trulik from OceanView Investments, the new MVCOC president for 2011.
