The La Crescenta Woman’s Club is hosting a free workshop on Tuesday, Nov 19 at 7 p.m. on finding money for college. This workshop is for local parents of college bound high school students.
The workshop will focus on proven ways of getting money for college, no matter how much income parents make or their student’s grades. The class will include information on how to double or triple eligibility for free grant money, secrets to sending a child to a private school for less than the cost of a state school, and the biggest mistakes that nine out of 10 parents make when planning for college.
The LCWC will be awarding senior scholarships again this year and College Planning Experts, the organization presenting the workshop, is one of the sponsors of those scholarships.
The workshop is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a seat, call (661) 295-9946 or visit and click on the workshop tab.
