The community is invited to support the Nuttall family by attending a fundraiser to raise money for a diabetic alert dog for their 3-year-old son Luke.

Luke was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 2. His condition is life threatening and requires 24/7 monitoring. A fundraiser is planned for Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. at the 818 Bar & Lounge. The cost is $20 (tax deductible) and includes dinner, a live ’80s cover band and raffles and auctions.

The public is invited to stop by anytime to show its support. Service dogs will be on hand early in the evening so guests can learn more about how they help those with special needs.
