The Assistance League of Glendale had an open house meeting on Oct. 12 with a dozen guests to learn how the League helps the Glendale schools with their Authors & Illustrators, Scholarships and Operation School Bell programs.

Through Operation School Bell, Assistance League members last year gave uniforms, back packs and books to over 500 children. At the Oct. 12 meeting, Dr. Thorossian told moving stories of how new clothes and school supplies changed a child’s life.
