VFW District 7 POW-MIA Report

The Defense Prisoner of War-Missing in Action Office has an ongoing program to search for military personnel listed as POW/MIA. A recent report dated June 11 reported military personnel missing from the Korean War.

National POW-MIA Remembrance Day is the third Friday of September. Start planning now for your community awareness program.  Review the VFW Dept. of California Program Guide for POW-MIA.  Reporting instructions and other pertinent information is available in this document. Visit the VFW Post 10049 Military Museum located at the Simi Valley Town Center suite 220. Special POW-MIA exhibits are put on display along with historical lectures of interest during the year. Check out VFW Post 100.com for information.
