La Crescenta resident Alison Lockwood and her sister Sara Guaman-Ramel from northern California shared the fun of NCL Glendale’s 60th Fashion Show with their mother Coralee Gausman. Gausman joined NCL Glendale with her twin daughters in 1976 and both girls graduated in 1982. Lockwood rejoined NCL Glendale as a mom with her daughter Amanda in 2007. Eleventh grade student Amanda was a model in the fashion show.

The fashion show, coordinated by professional fashion show consultant Nicole Stewart, is one of the highlights of the NCL experience for the girls.

Ticktockers walked the runway wearing four outfits each from Anthropologie, Jessica McClintock, Black and White and Bloomingdales with accessories donated to the girls by Vera Bradley of the Americana.

The goal of all NCL Glendale efforts and events is to provide chances for moms to work with their daughters to teach event leadership skills, role model compassion and serve those in the local community who need financial or personal, one-on-one help and attention.

Last year NCL Glendale donated 10,707 hours of direct hands-on service to 18 charities in the La Cañada/La Crescenta/Pasadena and Glendale/Burbank areas and provided $30,000 in financial assistance to seniors to allow them to remain living with dignity at the 12 Oaks Retirement Lodge in La Crescenta in addition to financial gifts totaling $17,000 to other local charities.
