It Takes Four

The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge Bridge Club is a vibrant part of the Community Center’s long history and a cornerstone in the senior programming that takes place throughout the year.

Edward L. McDermott has taken the helm of overseeing the Bridge Club after former coordinator Malak Peterman, a La Cañada resident, passed away on Jan. 2.

All experienced players in the foothill area are invited take part on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All players bring a lunch and sometimes other goodies to share.

“We are thankful that another member has stepped up to take over the responsibilities of something so positive and fun for others,” said Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge executive director Maureen Bond. “The Bridge Club is very welcoming and all the players have a passion for the game and are very thankful they have a place to meet, play bridge and develop new friendships.”
