DAR Helps Teddys to Find New Homes

Getting ready to give new homes to cute Teddy bears for a special children’s program at the Crescenta Valley station of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department are (from left) Don Jose Verdugo Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) members Vice Regent Elaine La Marr, Regent Liz Craven and California State Society of DAR Treasurer Sharon Meigs. Meigs presented the history of the Teddy bear in America and Europe at a recent luncheon meeting held at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale.
