MOPS Hosts Special Day for Moms

Moms were treated to first class spa services at the first Annual Spa Day on Jan. 20. The event was a kick off for early registration for the spring semester of the MOPS Crescenta Valley.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Crescenta Valley hosted its first Annual Spa Day on Jan. 20 for nearly 30 moms. The mothers, wearing PJs or yoga clothes, were treated to mini massages, facials, face masks and hot breakfast. The event was held in partnership with Spa Pura in Montrose and Mary Kay cosmetics.

This event welcomed many new moms to MOPS Crescenta Valley and kicked off early registration for the MOPS spring semester that  starts Feb. 3 and continues through June. A registration fee of $100  includes hot breakfast, speakers, crafts and childcare for six months. MOPS meets the first and third Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m. and aims to foster authentic community and personal growth via teaching, discussion, creative activities for moms and their families, being mindful of practical help and spiritual hope cultivated by walking together in faith.
